  • Notes
  • In an interview with EQI, Amy Keating Rogers sings a “prototype version” of Smile, Smile, Smile with lines being sung by “Derpy Doo.” (mp3|flac)
  • Changes from Lauren Faust’s “MLP Bible”:
    1. Apple Bloom was originally known as Apple Seed and was originally the only crusader. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo were added later.
    2. Big Mac was originally known as Big Apple and ran Big Apple Orchard.
    3. Zecora was originally known as Shaman, which didn’t make it through the legal process and had a larger role. She may have been somewhat of a mentor to Twilight.
    4. Ponyville was originally known as Phillydelphia.
    5. Rarity spoke with a faked British accent.
    6. Much of the world of MLP was left open to be explained in episodes. “It isn’t canon until it’s on the screen.”

I watched it burn end to end– it was a very slow, controlled burn.

The stuff dropping from it was not sparks (there were very few), but instead flaming molten plastic. The two tubes hitting the floor at the end was a nice touch.
