Amy Keating Rogers
Amy Keating Rogers originally began writing plays. In fact, when her play “The Stuff” was being produced in Hollywood, Craig McCracken approached her to write for The Powerpuff Girls (she was working as a Production Assistant at the time). Craig liked her work and she was brought on as Head Writer for the show. From there, Amy wrote for many Cartoon Network shows: Dexter’s Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, Samurai Jack, and Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends.
Meghan McCarthy
Long-time episode writer and showrunner of season 3, will be virtually joining us at BUCK 2013! Not only has she written many of our favorite episodes of Friendship is Magic (“Dragonshy”, “Lesson Zero”, and “A Canterlot Wedding”, to name a few), but also the lyrics to some of the best songs (“Becoming Popular”, “The Perfect Stallion”, and Pinkie’s “Cupcake Song”, to name but another few!).
