Show your Loved One you Care with BronyCon’s Two Hearts Sale

Celebrate Hearts and Hooves Day with BronyCon by sweeping your special somepony off their hooves with the Two Hearts Sale.

The twenty-four-hour sale begins at 12:00 a.m. (EST) and ends 11:59 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, Feb. 14. Three-day tickets, which are normally priced at $70, will be on sale for $55 each when bought in pairs, leaving you enough money to give that special somepony the flowers they deserve.

Additionally, the hotels are going fast. The host hotel, the Baltimore Hilton, has already sold out completely. So cozy up with your special somepony in Baltimore by taking advantage of the great deals BronyCon has to offer on its overflow hotels. Visit BronyCon’s hotels page to book your visit for the Aug. 2-4 convention today.

To register with the Two Hearts Sale: go to BronyCon’s registration page and select the “Two Hearts Special Three Day Pass” option. Again, this discount will only be applied with the purchase of exactly two tickets and will get you in for all three days of the convention.

Greetings, dear pony friends!

Everfree Northwest wouldn’t be the world-class event it is without the incredible staff who worked their flanks off both at and around the convention to make it a reality. Those who wore the green shirt last year did so with pride, honor, and a sense of accomplishment that can’t be beat. This year, we’ve expanded and need even more volunteers to step forward and join our amazing team.

To that end, we are pleased to announce that Everfree Northwest has opened applications for 2013. We are looking for people with a wide range of skills and talents, including Security, IT, Public Relations, Logistics, and more. If you’re a hard worker with a passion for ponies, and would love to be part of a team that truly believes in what it does, then we encourage you to submit an application at:

http://www.everfreenw.com/apply/

Applicants must be age 16 or older by the time of the convention and staff under 18 will be required to have a parent or guardian’s written permission to serve on staff. If you have questions or would like more information, please send an email to:

staff@everfreenw.com

Thank you to all who continue to support us, and no matter what your function on our team, we’re counting on you to make our event an even bigger success than before!

PS: If you get hired and come across a box of DHN postcards, please send them back to us (DS).

TrotCon is proud to bring you the widely talented Lee Tockar!

Lee’s been fairly actively lately with Fanbuilt, which you’ve probably heard about by this point. In a nutshell, Fanbuilt is a virtual animation studio for creative minds to collaborate on projects. You can watch the introductory video on YouTube for a great description of what it’s all about.

Of course, you might also know Lee from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic as the voices of Steven Magnet, Snips, and a number of other characters. He’s also voiced for a wide range of other titles over the years, including PuccaMobile Suit Gundam 00Stargate: Infinity, and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. Check out his IMDb profile for the whole impressive list.

At TrotCon this summer, Lee will be talking in detail about Fanbuilt, his voice work, the other projects he’s been involved with, and more. He’ll also be signing autographs for $15 each.

You can follow @LeeTockar and @Fanbuilt on Twitter, and check out Lee’s website at leetockar.com.

But wait, there’s more! Heather Breckel, the colorist for the official MLP:FIM comic series, will also be joining us. While most of the focus on the comics thus far has been on writer Katie Cook and artist Andy Price, Heather’s top-notch coloring work truly brings the comic to life.

The Round Stable recently posted an insightful interview which might serve as a preview of the sorts of things she’ll be discussing this summer. You can find Heather on our artists’ panel, where she will be talking about the comics, as well as some of the more technical aspects of colors and design.

You can find Heather Breckel on DeviantArtTwitter, and via her own website.

We’ll also see the return of our resident Professor Farnsworth impersonator and colorful equine artist WillDrawForFood1. He’s the creator of the popular Ask Surprise tumblr, and he’ll be on our artists’ panel, as well as doing some crazy voices and drawing crazy things. You can find him on DeviantArt, and now also on Twitter @ToonZach.

If you’re interested in one of our $100 sponsor badges, now is probably a great time to get one – we will be posting details about sponsor’s perks in the coming weeks, and we’re sure that once we do, they’re going to go fast. Quantities are limited, so get ’em while they’re hot. Of course, you don’t have to spend that much to attend: our regular badges are still a great deal at $30.

Last but not least, as a reminder, applications are open for panelistsartists, and musicians! We’re planning on having a schedule packed full of pony for the whole weekend, so if you have an awesome talent that you’d like to share at TrotCon, don’t be shy, apply!
