From Meghan McCarthy herself:

Still, that’s two nominations for My Little Pony in one category, and 14 overall nominations for shows on The Hub. Congratulations to Ingram, McCarthy, and Fullerton for the nominations. One last note to keep in mind: not every loss is a snub.

  • Jody Morgan

Not pony related, but the big news from this part of the Emmy ceremony is June Foray winning an award. It’s a shame that for most of her career, there haven’t been any awards for the type of work she does, but belated recognition is better than no recognition at all.

  • Okay, I /am/ biased, but how many people, outside of the animation studio that made it, are singing/humming ANY Of the songs from Penguins of Madagascar? I am being serious. This was a snub, plain and simple.
