Fighting Is Magic: The Joy of Palettes

I hope I’m not giving away too much, but the game we are working on has animation in it.

As one of the animationists/programmerisers, I’m going to explain a little bit about the process required to get the animations into the game engine and some of the fun problems we had to solve to get them looking good and working properly.

It is going to be a long explanation, because there is a lot of concepts that won’t make sense without other concepts, so make yourselves comfortable and come with me on this magical, technically dense adventure.
