Well, time for more PikaBloom.  I was never really too keen on this episode, so I’ll go over some stuff pony-wise in Japan instead.  Oh, and fun fact:  Japan doesn’t do Daylight Savings, so the Japanese dub episodes start an hour earlier on the clocks that do follow DST.  Catch the last few weeks in Japony after the break:

On the merch front, the figures have come out in physical retail as well as online retail.  Nothing really new per se, compared to the western figure releases, but there is some miscellaneous merch that aren’t figures that seem to be unique.  You can find Japan’s MLP online store here, but the store only delivers domestically.

On the appearances front, that one Pinkie Pie costume has shown up in various places in Japan, including near Ueno Station in Tokyo.  You can find pictures on the mylittleponyjpn Twitter.

And what of the show itself?  No numbers on the television broadcasts have been made public as far as I can tell, but there are a couple of popularity polls out and about.  Apparently the favorite episode of season 1 is Party of One; favorite pony, Rarity; favorite secondary character, Luna.  Go figure.  The show is also streaming on Nico Nico Douga, but you need to be in Japan (or have a proxy, yar har) to view it.  The show averages about 12,000 views per episode on Nico.

And that’s about it.  Any questions, comments?  Feel free to sound off in the comments, or send in an email submission.
