The source says these are figures for comics sold at comic shops. I wonder what those figures would be if iTunes was factored in.

I think I remember the editor saying that digital copies sell about 10% as much as the physical copies.

Looks like pony is #1 and #3 for IDW (especially since the comics dropped on the penultimate day of October). Though #2 for IDW (Samurai Jack #1) was only 25 from being equal to that of Issue #12. Next month will be very interesting as the comics will now be including Princess Twilight. Also a reminder to those who have subscriptions, the Micro series ends in December with Princess Luna and Friends Forever (the follow-up series) is out in January with Applejack and Pinkie Pie. Be sure to inform your service if you are interested in FF so they can have it stocked come the new year.

Well, given this was out for a whole two days, and doesn’t actually include all sales, still damn good. Would really like to see what sales would look like for comics released earlier in the month.

As to the “How many more are sold digitally” One of the IDW head guys did address it in an interview, saying that on average, they get about an extra 15% of sales in digital format overall, however the pony comics tend to have a significantly higher percentage of digital sales then other series. So figure an extra 20-25% for digital.
