San Diego Comic Con is two weeks, which means Comic Con International posted its panel schedule for all events. This includes the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic related panels. So if you are attending SDCC in two weeks or want to pay attention to pony announcements, click below to find out which panels feature your pony news.


The first pony panel is Friday, July 19th at 1:30 PM PT in Room 8, IDW Publishing will be hosting its Hasbro Licensing panel which includes GI Joe, Transformers and My Little Pony comics.

Secrets will be revealed and hints will be dropped, courtesy of the IDW editorial team ofJohn BarberBobby Curnow, and Carlos Guzman, plus Hasbro’s director for global publishing Michael Kelly. They’ll be joined by a powerhouse lineup of fan-favorite creators, including artist Phil Jimenez, ready to answer your questions!

Then on Saturday, July 20th at 10:00 AM PT in Room 25ABC, Hasbro Studios presents the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic panel.

Representatives from Hasbro Studios and The Hub TV Network’s My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic share details of the making of the popular animated series and how the “friendship” and “magic” are brought to life. Also includes Q&A time.

Sunday, July 21st at 11:00 AM PT in Room 25DE, there will be a panel on All Ages comics including My Little Pony

Some of the biggest “kids” in comics discuss the current state of the industry and what steps are necessary for comics to secure a place in the hearts and minds of the next generation. What are the benefits and challenges involved in writing all-ages comics? How are licensed comics playing a role in our future? How might webcomics, digital publishing, emerging technologies, and self-publishing change the landscape? And how can we ensure that more young readers today become readers for life? Panelists include Andy Runton (Owly), David Petersen (Mouse Guard), Katie Cook (My Little Pony), Mike Kunkel (Herobear and the Kid), Neo Edmund (Jurassic Strike Force 5),Otis Frampton (Oddly Normal), Royden Lepp (Rust), and Jimmy Gownley (creator of Amelia Rules!). Join Ben 10 himself, Yuri Lowenthal as he interviews Comic-Con special guest Charlotte Fullerton, the co-head writer of Ben 10: Omniverse, about her extensive career in children’s TV, writing for a wide variety of shows such as My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic and Green Lantern: The Animated Series, as well as her involvement in making the now-legendary Star Wars comedy fanfilm Troops. On a personal note, Charlotte is the widow of renowned writer/producer Dwayne McDuffie, co-founder of Milestone Comics. Q&A session.
