Canterlot Gardens Update – Message from Tara Strong & More

First of all, we at Canterlot Gardens have an important message to pass through from Tara Strong:

In efforts to support Kiki’s Treatment Fund (and if you haven’t already, any contribution would be greatly appreciated), Tara wanted to let everyone know that she will be auctioning off a ton of autographed merchandise at our charity auction! To make this even more fantastic, 100% of all proceeds from Tara’s items will go directly to Kiki’s Treatment fund. Please support this cause, and thank you to Tara for being so wonderful! We couldn’t think of a more fantastic addition to our auction.

Likewise, the one and only Max Gilardi (Hotdiggedydemon) is confirmed as a guest at Canterlot Gardens! He will be present for one crazy fun panel, artwork commissions, and to just generally be swag. Make sure to check him out. In addition to this, he will be debuting a brand-new world-premier cartoon!

Oh, right. Hotdiggedydemon also wanted us to let you know that he has a secret special celebrity guest star appearance for his panel! So secret, in fact, that even the staff at Canterlot Gardens has no idea who it is going to be.

More after the page break.

While we’re all aware and excited for the musical guests at Canterlot Gardens, I don’t believe we ever gave a formal release of just how epic it is going to be. Check out who will be performing at our festival!

If that isn’t enough to get you rockin’, well, then what is?

Panel time! Mitchell Ellis, Mat Geisen, Dan Jordan, Neko Mini, and Mat Lee will presenting their very own cosplay panel at Canterlot Gardens. The panel will feature information and tutorials on not only how to create and design cosplay outfits, but also why they do it.

The panel’s main focus is on helping new cosplayers get a nice kickstart on the ins-and-outs of creating their outfit, providing tips and tricks that have been passed down over from years of cosplay experience, and even more specifics such as creating horns, wings, and other props. If you’re interested in cosplaying, or have just started your first cosplay, this panel is absolutely for you.

Finally, since some people seem to have missed it, here’s a round up of all our current guests! Oh, and yes, we have at least one more big name to announce!
