Yet another announcement from EQLA, but this one is a biggie community wise. Copy pasta:

Oh boy, do we have an announcement for all the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fans out there.

Equestria LA is very proud to announce that the creator of all things brony, Lauren Faust, will be a Guest of Honor for November 2012! Rebooting the My Little Pony franchise and spawning the entire brony fandom may seem like a lot but that’s not all she’s known for. Her impressive resume includes titles such as: storyboard artist for Powerpuff Girls, head writer on Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, and creator of Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls. Recently her project Super Best Friends Forever, on DC Nation aired its final episode. Most currently she has teamed up with Disney and Craig McCracken as co-producer and story editor for the show Wander Over Yonder.

We’re happy to welcome Lauren Faust back to the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic convention scene with her first appearance since Brony Con last June.

Please note that Mrs. Faust will only be in attendance for November 3, 2012.

In other good news, our room blocks with the Anaheim Hilton hotel has been extended to October 15, 2012. We recommend calling (714-750-4321) when booking your reservations and remember to mention Equestria LA for the convention discount.

Saturday, November 3, 2012 has sold out! We do have tickets for Sunday, November 4, 2012 but they are going fast and after this announcement, we except to sell out. If you need to purchase a ticket, please visit our site You’ll need to register with the site before you can purchase a ticket.

If you missed out on Saturday badges, we are still accepting staff applications  We’re offering some great perks when you become part of our staff. Work for four hours and con admission is included with your staff badge; work for eight hours and you’ll get con admission and get into Equestria LA 2013 for free!

November is almost here, see you then!

If you’re planning to go, I may want your help with a small gift-delivery project I’ve been toying with. I wish I could, but my tutoring clients are starting to line up on the weekends.
