Excellent episodes, except for the speed at which Glimmer dropped her vendetta and the the nigh instant suspension of suspicion of Glimmer’s intent by all the mane six.

To me, it was resolved less abruptly than the finales of other seasons. There was time for her to reveal some depth of personality and a path for redemption which its more than could be said for the battle episodes with the other villains. Although, I agree it could have been longer.

On further thought, I guess that Glimmer and the ponies Twilight introduces to her are influenced by Friendship magic. Kind of like Cadence’s love-bug spell, only more subtle or insidious. -_^

Waitin’ fer the ep. 25 upload. Funny that part II went up first. 8^D

Keep a thing in your mind thought: Starlight was condamning the whole Equestria to a dark future, and when she saw that she changed mind, althought with some difficulties. She’s not a cruel character, she lived with her philosofy or equality, but she’s not evil per say. That’s why I found her redemption natural (and the fact they used a song helped).

            You make good points. 8^)
