September in the comics world was huge. DC Comics’ Villains Month dominated the entirety of the Top 400 (yes, Comichron had to extend the list to 400 because of Villains Month), Marvel was continuing there adventures into Infinity, and Powerpuff Girls #1 was the highest selling IDW comic at an estimated 38,992 physical copies sold. So how did the My Little Pony comics fair in the month of September?
First on the list, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic #11 finished in the 79th spot selling an estimated 32,784 physical copies. The beginning of “Neigh Anything” outsold Infinity Heist #1 from Marvel and Deadshot #1 from DC.
Next, Celestia’s spotlight in My Little Pony Micro-Series #8 sold an estimated 22,656 copies finishing in the 136th spot.
In addition, the conclusion to Big Mac’s storyline in My Little Pony #10 sold an additional 7,385 copies in September.
On to the graphic novels, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Vol. 2 sold 4,169 copies finishing 9th on the graphic novel best seller list.
Finally, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Vol. 1 sold 1,121 copies finishing 91st on the best seller list.
