Panels and Interviews with Voice Actors

Fear and Loathing in Las Pegasus by SouthParkTaoist

I’m biased toward the writers, yet most conventions seem to put the central focus on the voice actors. Unicon was no exception, so this is set to become the largest of our posts in this series.

Again, if more interview recordings are uploaded after this post is published, we’ll add them here, so check back from time to time. I’ll also try to remember to tweet updates as @Telofy. The missing panels are “Fanbuilt with Lee Tockar,” “Splitting Personalities: Talking to Yourself,” “Between Soundstage and Sound Booth: Live Action VS. Animation,” and “The Men Behind the Magic: A Look at the Sometimes Forgotten Male Roles,” but some may never have happened.

[Update 3/3 7:29 PM MST – Interview with Gary Chalk, Michael Daingerfield, and Mark Oliver with EQI is up.]

[Update 3/5 4:45 PM MST – EQI Interview with Maryke Hendrikse, voice of Gilda, is up.]

[Update:  Interviews with Cindy Morrow and Sam Vincent close up the bunch, I hope.  Trevor Devall has been added as well.]

It’s a bit hard to match panels, recording, and summaries, since neither the names nor the schedules follow any common scheme, but this should be CouchCrusader’s summary for this panel.

Since I’ve also added a non-Unicon interview (with Sibsy) to the writers/storyboarders post, here another one: Dennis Daniel has interviewed Nicole Oliver on his eponymous show.

This week, we have special guest voice actress Nicole Oliver joining us on the program. Nicole Oliver is a popular Canadian actress and voice actress, best known for her roles as Princess Celestia and Cheerilee in “My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic!” Aside from that, she can also seen in Cardcaptors, Ranma 1/2, and both live action Death Note movies.
